What The Church Could Learn From Coke

Share-a-Coke-with-Chris-and-Emma_picIn case you have not seen Coke Cola’s new ad campaign, it is all about “sharing a coke” with someone you know.

For instance, if you know someone with the name “Jack”, then be sure to buy him a coke and share it with him. If you know a Chris or a Emma or a David or even a Bubba (if you can find one!), be sure to buy them a coke and share it with them – they will love you!

It’s amazing to me how people are flocking to stores just to find their name or to find someone else’s name on a bottle and then buy it for them to share with them – amazing!

Can you imagine what would happen if the church got a hold of this concept and “shared” Jesus with someone? (Before you get too upset at me, I want you to know that I am talking to myself as well.) We could turn this world upside down!

Share BibleThe Great Commission tells us to “GO”, or in better terminology, “as you go”. So, as you go throughout your life, share Jesus! So, as you come across a Jack, Chris, Emma or even a Bubba, “share” Jesus!

So the next time you grab a Coke bottle that says “Share a Coke with _____”, be sure to take the time and share Jesus with them as well!

There are 250 names that Coke is using. I saw the names at work. I agree with what you wrote. Nice
