Today’s Worship Wednesday song comes from a combination of two things: 1) I have been reading through a book entitled “Grace Is Greater” by Kyle Idleman and 2) I love just about any song that Laura Story sings.

Because of this combination, today’s Worship Wednesday song is “Grace” by Laura Story.

God’s grace is an amazing thing. We sing about it in the church. We read about it in the Bible. But it is not until we truly experience God’s grace that it becomes real. Kyle Idleman said this about experiencing grace:

God’s grace is compelling when explained but irresistible when experienced.

The chorus to this songs goes like this:

“I ask you how many times will you pick me up when I keep on letting you down. And each time I will fall short of your glory. How far will forgiveness abound? And you answer my child, ‘I love you’. And as long as your seeking my face you’ll walk in the power of My daily sufficient grace.”

Idleman goes on to say in his book that:

Our ability to appreciate grace is in direct correlation to the degree to which we acknowledge our need for it. The more I recognize the ugliness of my sin, the more I can appreciate the beauty of God’s grace”.

I hope and pray that we will truly experience the grace of God and that we will understand our deep need for a Savior!

Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me!
