Last month I had the opportunity to take a short-term missions trip to the country of Panama. Not only was it to visit one of our sent missionary families from our church, but it was a time for me to reconnect with a life-long friend.

Each day we traveled to the town of Espave, Panama, to do painting and to build windows for their church building. The community where this church is located in is a charcoal community, which means that there is always charcoal residue present and with no windows in the church building, it was causing problems inside. We also had the opportunity to install a water tank for their bathrooms, which provided them with water to use in their sinks and toilets.

I can’t say enough about the team that God put together for this trip. I am not a builder but God had the right people, in the right place, at the right time and for that I am truly grateful.

The theme for my church this year is “Until The Whole World Hears”. That is our goal and should be the goal of every Christian this side of heaven, to proclaim His name to the nations. I hope you enjoy the video!
